With over 10 years of experience in pharmacy and prescribing, Rishi Chopra brings extensive clinical knowledge and a specialist focus on hair loss treatments to LEO.

As our Lead Pharmacist and Prescriber, Rishi plays a central role in overseeing the clinical side of LEO, ensuring every patient receives safe, effective and personalised treatment tailored to their individual needs.

With a particular interest in male pattern hair loss, Rishi specialises in evidence-based treatments, including oral and topical medications. His approach combines the latest clinical research with a thorough understanding of each patient's medical history, treatment goals and individual circumstances.

At LEO, Rishi is committed to making clinically informed hair loss treatment more accessible, straightforward and personal, helping patients feel confident and supported throughout their hair restoration journey.

Specialist Experience in Hair Loss Treatment

Rishi has developed a particular focus on the treatment and management of male pattern hair loss, with experience in prescribing both oral and topical medications, including finasteride and minoxidil.

His approach is rooted in evidence-based medicine, combining established clinical research with an understanding of each patient's individual needs. At LEO, Rishi assesses patients' medical histories, treatment suitability and potential risks to help determine the most appropriate treatment options.

Clinical Oversight & Medical Content Review

Alongside his prescribing responsibilities, Rishi contributes to the clinical review of LEO's educational content, helping ensure our guidance on hair loss, treatment options and prescription medications is medically accurate, evidence-based and up to date.

His involvement helps ensure that the information we share reflects current clinical understanding, giving patients access to reliable, trustworthy guidance throughout their hair loss treatment journey.

Education & Professional Qualifications

Rishi completed his Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) degree at Liverpool John Moores University in 2015, before further advancing his clinical expertise by completing his Independent Prescribing qualification at the University of Salford in 2021.
